For the enjoyment of all, we encourage all visitors to play their part to protect our living collections and to maintain the peace and tranquility in the Gardens:
- Take nothing but photographs
- Our lawns are lush, clean, and suitable for picnics so please use only picnic mats
- Sale and solicitation of items and services are not permitted
- Please refrain from blocking our pathways
- Children are allowed on tri-cycles, two- wheelers, scooters/skates only under strict supervision. There are varying gradients in the Gardens, so please use caution.
- Nature’s natural audio system - Birds chirping, frogs croaking and cicadas calling – are much preferred to the electronic man made one.
- For the safety of all, please leash your canine friends and muzzle them in accordance with the Animals & Birds (Dog Licensing & Control) Rules. Refer to this chart for more information.
- Dog poo bags are available at various entrances. Please clean up after your dogs and dispose of all waste in a hygienic and considerate manner.
- Littering attracts pests and causes unsightly lawns. Go clean, go green.
- Please refrain from playing with fire in order to protect the plants.
- To keep the air fresh and clean, smoking is not permitted.
- Please refrain from playing with frisbees, boomerangs, kites and footballs as these activities disturb the peace of the Gardens
